it was reported THAT NIGHT that the Saints were targeting and likely taking Mahomes with their pick, but the Chiefs traded up and picked him first.....
is this really new news to some people here?

And the funniest part is people blame Sean Payton and his supposedly big mouth as to why the chiefs knew to jump the saints. When in truth, it was Mahomes himself who told the chiefs to jump the Saints

Reported by who? No team tells people who they plan to draft. There were rumors and Mahomes apparently told KC he was hearing from other teams but the horseshite part is Payton really wanted him. Well it’s either horseshite or him saying he’s an idiot. This guy traded back into the first to get a RB, Ingram, he traded up for project DE but somehow he was just going to sit pat and if a QB he thought was the “best prospect he’s every seen” draft him? Sorry I’m not buying and I don’t even care what he maybe says now, that’s nothing but 20/20 hindsight.
