I have fricked with scam callers before and then they must have put me on some list because I started getting scam calls all the time. Easier to just block them.

I love screwing with the callers asking for donations (alumni associations, etc.). They always call during dinnertime, so I figure it's fair game.

Their tactic is to get a "yes" or "no" as early in the call as possible, so if it's a "no", they can move on to the next call.

I keep them on the line as long as I can, then say something like, "Wait, did you just say 'Mr. Smith'? This is John Smythe."

Waste as much of their time as possible since they're wasting mine.
