The skills that really matter in the NBA:
1. 3 pt shooting
2. Scoring at the rim/Getting to the line
3. Defense
BI doesn’t excel at any of those. A max player needs to be great at 2 of those, or elite at 1 and better than average at the other 2.
The 3 pt shooting is entirely his own choice. He could be much better there but simply hasn’t incorporated it into his game.

In my opinion all those skills are his choice. He has the ability to be great at all those but chooses not to.

All of those things are entirely his own choice.
His % of shots at the rim have gone down since he's been here. Because he would rather stop halfway there and pull up for a middy.
Defense is entirely his choice. Do you know how hard it is to be an awful defender at 6'8 with a 7'3 wingspan? It takes a generational level of apathy to be that bad of a defender with those measurables.
Zero cutting or off ball movement because he pouts whenever he doesnt have the ball in his hands.
He doesnt care about winning, he only cares about being able to play HIS way
