I grew up in awe of fade-away mid-range shot that Larry Bird & MJ would routinely make in the clutch, in the playoffs. That shot was a trend-setting separator move much like the step-back 3 is today.
I never thought I'd see the day I'd hate that shot. Brandon somehow has made me hate it. He shoots it when we desperately need 3's, fades away from potential And-1 fouling opportunities, and will seemingly miss 75% of them in the 4th quarter.
