Also, if the argument is “well, it’ll just let them be around others like themselves and make them worse”, so what?
It would make the situation for the ones they drag down in normal schools infinitely better
WHere are you hiring the staff to monitor these savages so closely they wont have time to congregate?
If you have these answers you need to be on capitol hill reforming our prison system.

Well. I don’t see this so much as a negative. The school wasn’t working so it’s closing, instead of our public system that would just throw another 20 million at the school.. not all charters work as the same societal problems exist in both

The arrangement, announced Wednesday, is part of a settlement agreement between IDEA Public Schools and the TEA. IDEA had been under investigation since 2021 following numerous allegations of financial and operational misconduct.
It was revealed that IDEA officials used public dollars to purchase luxury driver services as well as $15 million to lease a private jet, just two weeks after promising TEA it would be “strictly enforcing” new fiscal responsibility policies put in place in response to ongoing investigations, as reported by San Antonio Express-News.
The revelations led the district to conduct an internal investigation, resulting in the firing of JoAnn Gama, former superintendent and co-founder of IDEA. Gama later filed a lawsuit against IDEA claiming wrongful termination. IDEA came to a $475,000 settlement with Gama in January. This followed co-founder and CEO Tom Torkelson’s departure in 2020; he was given a $900,000 severance package.

So, more money doesn't equal smarter kids. Funny how that happens. What does equal smarter kids is a better home life. Not being raised in third generation welfare houses.

This. Remove the worst 10% of kids who are behavior problems, distractions, and have no intentions of doing work, or showing up consistently.
The school and learning environment improve dramatically overnight.

Like a grocery store they probably stole everything from it.
ps - one NOLA location I know of was 3 different charter schools in a 4 year period. Same location, same owner (executive director), same bs. Steal the grant $ and don't pay for shite, let it fold. Rinse/repeat

I’m not sure what the difference is but the one in Youngsville seems to be doing well. I know a few families that pulled kids from catholic for charter. Even building a football stadium
