Considering they pulled out of IAH in the early 2000s it didn't make a ton of sense to start service there again.

Yeah, that and ORD were surprises to me when you have Hobby and Midway.

I understand the attempt though, as you are an hour away from the other, but the existing are major hubs for SW.

Just easier access to people in North Houston and the Woodlands.

ETA - Same with ORD, if you are trying to get anywhere in North Chicago flying into ORD is much easier than Midway.
