Their electronics are great but their appliances suck...

We have a GE High Efficiency washer and dryer. It's not the top end nor the low end, and they've been great for the past three years. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it does what it's supposed to do, wash and dry clothes. Little over a K for the set. I've seen some of these high end model W/D that sell for 1,500 to 2,500 for just one or the other . Frick that. They wash and dry clothes....

My children have the GE toploader set. The newer one with the clear lid. Looks fancier but is the same as the white set. Not expensive and doing fine washing grandkids and hunting/fishing clothes.

Bought the exact same washer for my mother and it's outside under a covered breezeway. That washer WORKS.
