Pressing needs

It’s the 5th round. Addressing “needs” is over.

This is about just taking flyers and hoping to hit

I would have taken Wingo now and then waited until later in the 5th to take Pratt

Usually I’d agree with you Bunchy. But we could have picked a starting WR, OG or DT with this pick.

Which is fine. Rattler could hit.

But they had at least 4 or 5 guys that could actually play snaps this yr.

Brenden rice. Oladapo. Mahogany. Malik Washington. Wingo. Trotter Jr. Jamari thrash

That only goes to a certain point but not when you have minimum number of picks and multiple needs. The only way they will know if they strike gold a QB is if Carr is out for the season, otherwise this pick never sees playing time and gets scout practice time.

It's a dumb pick unless they are willing to sit Carr if he miraculously shines. They could've traded for the same quality player for nothing if they needed a project QB. Then I guess Haener is a bust from last year's pick.

I thought it was Sean wasting picks on low talent QBs but obviously that is not it. How many picks has this team wasted on no talent QBs in early to mid rounds?
