Rattler and Kool-aid were steals. Our 1st rounder would have gone no more than 3 picks later if we didn’t grab him. Seems like they’re going by the book and adding players at positions of need at sticker price.

exactly...

overall, it's been a pretty good draft.... the Means pick may be the only questionable one, when you factor it all in... and we haven't gotten antsy and started trading future picks to move up in this one

I like the means pick. Good size and speed.

Only pick I’m not sold on is this Texas LB. No scouting reports are very positive about him.

He gets INTs but nothing athletically makes him sound like he has upside in coverage.

Semi-finalist for Butkus Award and basically a 6th round pick. I think it's worth a shot.

How is Wingo still on the board? I know he’s only 6’ but damn his play and character should have gotten him drafted by now. Aaron Donald was Wingo’s size and he was one of the best.

Have seen good reports about his special teams potential. Solid special teamer with a very late 5th round pick is fine.

i'm indifferent to it... and i only questionable, b/c of other players that were on the board, at WR, that were rated higher amongst the majority of draft sites...
Rice, Malik Washington, etc... he may be end up being better than all of them, but it'll be interesting to look back in a few years and see if we made the right call with Means over those guys

Seems good for ST and a project that needs to learn the pro mlb position. A late rounder

He does have crazy measurable. I hope he can play and be a Colston and not an Emanuel Butler.

i don't know if amazing is the word i'd use, but it has been very efficient and solid... not much to really complain about, nothing that doesn't make sense or feels like a reach... the FO is doing a good job with this one

Eh I think they’ve had more reaches than not. Pratt is still there and could have gotten him over Rattler and gotten someone like Wingo earlier on

The most interesting thing about this draft is that it leans very heavily towards future roster construction moreso than 2024. Unless we move multiple players, Fuaga is likely the only guy who will really see any meaningful snaps this year. Considering how quiet the team was in FA, this means they likely will have a slightly older and slightly less talented starting group than they did in 2023.

Rattler is a better prospect than Pratt.

I think you should still be taking guys with the measurables to potentially start one day in the 5th, even late. Ford seems to only ever be a career backup. Not griping though, if he can be a good ST player and stick on the roster that’s fine.
