I inherited some old real silver flatware from my grandmother. It was from the very early 1900s. Using the “marks” on the pieces as a start and by perusing websites, I was able to identify the maker and pattern of the set and accessory pieces. I then worked with the website Antique Cupboard and they agreed to buy it from me. I made about $800 bucks for some really old, no longer pretty looking stuff. I did get quotes from two or three other websites [including replacements.com] but they were all much lower than the Antique Cupboard people.

Very easy transaction .
