The guy acted like he hated her while also secretly loving her and the attention she gave him. He also acted like he hated the writer who was diddling him but kept on going see him. Did he ever make a good decision the entire series? It was like watching a car accident in slow motion. I thought it was pretty good too though.

I told my wife the same thing...No victim blaming, but he could have stopped all the bad things happening to him at any moment.

This basically sums up my feelings after finishing it. I’m still not sure if I liked it, or hated it. Lol

It was well done, and there were solid performances, but ffs, the decision making from Donny basically pissed me off the entire time…to the point that, no matter how much I hated Martha, and I fricking hated her lol, I felt very little sympathy towards him.



I now think I’m going to rewatch The Detectorists again as a sort of palate cleanser after having endured baby reindeer.
