They all had a hell of a lot more lasting influence than Foreigner did.

I have every one of Foreigner's first six albums. I couldn't name one song from The Pixies, Joy Division, or Sonic Youth. I can hear a Foreigner song on the radio every day. To the best of my knowledge I have never heard The Pixies, Joy Division or Sonic Youth on the radio. The only people those bands ever influenced are music critics and Depeche Mode.

That’s more of a damning indictment of your shitty taste than it is of the Pixies and Joy Division.

Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, all the pop-punk/emo bands of the 00s owe a debt to The Pixies, Joy Division and/or Sonic Youth. shite, Olivia Rodrigo picked the Breeders as the opening act for her New York shows a couple of weeks ago.

Radio play? What an indictment of your taste and level of interest in rock music.

I don't even hate Foreigner, but man, this is a pretty bad indictment of your horrible taste in music.
