It’s 2024, the us is currently producing more oil than any nation in the history of the world at 13.2 mmbbls/d

That's nice. The world uses 97.3 million barrels per day.

So you believe the only thing holding out global economic collapse is the Israelis and by proxy the US keeping in check the Iranians? Lmfao

The OP said we should just completely pull out of the Middle East. If we did that numerous things could happen, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS BAD FOR THE USA. Iran could take over the region, China could take over the region, Iran could attack Israel to the point where Israel nukes Tehran. But the chances of them all holding hands and becoming best friends and the region staying peaceful and oil production staying stable is right up there with people mistaking you for having intelligence.

So the iranans would knock out how many bbls/d of global production if the US wasn’t in Israel? Even though that’s the main income of all these middle eastern countries, they would just plug every well and keep the oil as reserves while also trying to fight a war with the rest of the world. What’s the cost benefit analysis of the US pulling out of the Middle East and the subsequent global economic collapse that will ensue? Thanks Mr big brains
