Under appreciated: Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson. Rarely mentioned amongst the greats but I believe he’s on a very short list of greatest mixed martial artists of all time. Tied with Jon Jones for most title defenses (11). The flying arm bar against Borg, the knees in the clinch to Cejudo, the beautifully timed flying knee to Moraes (poetry in motion). Elite athleticism coupled with one of the highest fight IQs ever.

Usually you have to be accomplished to be overrated
And I don't think Sterling is "bad", just overrated.
Colby is underrated because outside of an early career loss he has only lost to studs and gone the distance or pretty close to it even in losses, and because of his persona people act like he sucks when hes actually really skilled. And his cardio is insane.

I would say he was overrated. Granted I haven't been into UFC until the past couple of years but he seems to be everywhere these days. I had to look him up and realized he never even won a belt.

Colby hasn’t beaten anyone that was a legit contender. Sterling has beaten quite a few top contenders.
You can’t really call someone underrated that hasn’t beaten any top contenders.
