Even though he does get praise, Aldo didn’t get enough. Guy was unbelievable

IDK if I can say hes underrated, but I still don't think Volk gets the praise he deserves.

Other than that

Overrated

BJ Penn.

Underrated

For me George St-Pierre. At the time watching him, I wasn't a fan of ground game. As I ha e gotten older, I understand now how dominant he was.

Just lost all credibility here...

So, Because Dana hates the Shamrock's and UFC media doesn't tell their followers to worship them, Frank, who is one of the most revolutionary fighters in mma history, is somehow not overlooked?

To quote Ken Shamrock: "My ceiling was Frank's floor."

Also, if you're going to say Masvidal is overrated, the Nate is really overrated.

Forrest Griffin doesn't get talked about enough. He beat some incredible heavyweight fighters.

I agree with others that BJ Penn is overrated

1000% the most overrated is Jorge Masvidal

Most underrated? There’s a few but my pick would be Bisping or even Chris Weidman. Yes they have a few losses but I don’t think people understood just how good they really were

Did you get those backwards? Sterling is way more accomplished than Colby.

Underrated: Charles Oliveira. I know he's lost two of his last three but he was on an incredible streak there for a while in a stacked division (beat Ferguson, Chandler, Poirier, and Gaethje). Most finishes in UFC history and the only person to fight in 4 title fights and never be the favorite. Never was the fan favorite either. Didn't get the respect from Vegas or the fans, kind of the definition of underrated.

Oh, poo poo this. Win those title fights and we have something. Dude seems to be rated right where he belongs.

I’m gonna have to disagree that GSP could even sniff underrated status. He is probably on the Mt Rushmore of UFC fighters so he would be exempt from both categories.

I couldnt stand him back in the day. I respected him and recognized his dominance but i hated his "jab to death and wrestle" style of fighting and later in his career he never finished fights. I bought all of his fights hoping to see him lose and he never did. Except to Serra the 1 fight i didnt buy . I bought the rematch though

My respect has since grown for him since he retired. I like how he did it the right way and stepped away when he knew everyone was doping. And I do really like how he was one of the few that knew when to hang it up and he went out on top. To many legends hang on for to long and have their reputation tarnished with ugly KOs past their prime. (looking at you chuck)
