My toddler loves grits unfortunately, so I make them just about every morning. Stovetop grits only take about 5 min and I can get crazy with it and melt all kinds of cheese in there.
Nothing wrong with instant grits though, but I can’t justify the cost vs time even if it’s just a few bucks.

It doesn't take too long. I don't eat them but I'll make them for my wife. Find the extra time but getting up 5 minutes earlier to make them.
