Maybe about a 3-4. The opening blowout gave us some excitement and hope of turning a corner, then we go ahead and lose a game our most reliable pitcher starts. That killed a lot of the buzz. Winning the series was better than losing again, but we needed a sweep to generate some real momentum.

I didn’t want to lose another series. Especially with Holman game being a loss.

I was happy.

+ Was 80 degrees for weeks up there; then a Cool Front drops temps in the chilly 50's just in time for LSU.

A sweep would have warranted a 4 or 5. Taking 2 of 3 against such a terrible team is a 1.

I'd say 8.

Given where the team was entering that series, it desperately needed to record a conference series victory.

Their backs are still up against the wall. They need to record even more SEC victories.

As the old cliche goes, take it one game at a time.

No excitement at all, and I'll tell you why. No matter what anyone says, there is not a universe known to man where it is acceptable for LSU to be looking for their first SEC series win in the 6th series of the year! NONE!! You can throw out all the excuses about losing these players or those players, the SEC is loaded this year or all the crap you want to lay out there, but there is no excuse for this team to be looking at their first series win at this point in the season. With that being said, I am holding out hope that they can create a little momentum and close out the season on a better note and maybe this off season CJJ can make the adjustments needed to get this thing back where it should be, which is in the top three in the SEC, at least!!

Agree! After going 0 for 5? I was damn excited we finally won one!! I don't care that it was "just Missouri."

I agree. 6

I’m hoping this is the turning point and we will see a few more series wins before the post-season rolls around.
