Eagles want to move up. We could really use #50 back.
I ain't moving back from 14 to 22 just for #50. It doesn't always work out--and hasn't lately to obvious detriment to our roster--but I like the attitude of aggressively going after the guy you love than moving back and passively taking the default BPA/position of need guy as the default that you might not be in love with. Would rather whiff on a guy that we take with conviction than make a "meh" pick that nobody is really sold on at that spot.
Not sure how they've got this draft graded. Wonder how many guys they have with a #1 grade. It's almost never even close to 32. Maybe this year.
I'm not sure if we'll ever know, but it would be interesting to know who has the biggest--and final--voice in the war room this whole weekend, but mainly Thursday. How much power are they going to give Kubiak? Ireland? DA? Mickey? If they're all fighting over different guys, who makes the final call? I think it has to be DA or he's going into the year as a lame duck. But maybe not.

Normally I’d agree, but Loomis has fricked up our drafts so bad recently. This team has so many holes and adding a bonus top 50 player is a big deal. 22 is a sweet spot where one of the deeper positions we need should have someone slip. I think Latham or the Washington Tackle will be there.

Moving back only spots to get a 2nd would be awesome.

What a silly way to look at it. “Passively taking the default”. You are advocating pure emotion over rational thinking. No matter how much you “love” a guy there are no sure things and if he doesn’t work out, you’re in a hole vs making 2-3 picks better chance for at least 1 to pan out. The current roster has many holes get extra picks helps would be welcome. You are just as likely to get an solid starter at 22 as 14.
