Several years ago my brothers wife and 6-8 friends went to Florida. They extended their stay a few days. A few months later 3 of them were divorced. My brother was one of them
When I was working in Destin. It was generally women in their forties hooking up with 25 year old waiters/bartenders. Sometimes the younger chicks too but many of them weren't married.

Yep. Because there is absolutely no way any woman could acquire and take drugs on their own volition. Also, according to the report in the video, they refused medical treatment and signed a waiver acknowledging their refusal. Obviously none of us have seen it, but it would be pretty ballsy for the resort/authorities to lie if the women did seek/receive medical treatment
They refused medical treatment at the Bohemian Hospital because the cruise would have departed without them

They did receive medical treatment with full toxicology testing from the cruise medical staff

I'm not sure what you think you're explaining to me. I don't disagree.

Being capable of it and actually doing it are to different things.
If you're married to someone where that is a constant concern, or that you belive they would absolutely do it, you are married to the wrong person.

But you do you.

Exactly.

I like to have a drink or 2. I'm friendly and I am not unfortunate-looking.

When I traveled for work, I avoided hotel bars.

Right, like taking a "girl's trip" to Vegas or a Bahamian cruise without your spouse?

Or do you think they can take these trips without drinking, dancing, etc ?

Like someone else posted, groups of drunk married women is an interesting study in infidelity.

I fully agree here, avoidance is the best prevention. But that's not this story.

Went to Cancun with some friends back in the mid-90s when I was single. We met a group of older married women. Ended up hanging out with them most of the time. It was quite fun.

Cancun, Florida, Vegas, Nashville, and sometimes New Orleans are all prime cougar hotspots.

There was some exculpatory evidence where the girls were being pretty friendly with the accused on the way to their rooms. Not saying drugs or alcohol weren’t involved that lead to something else (date rape,) just that the initial story didn’t line up with later video footage exactly.

It would be pretty ballsy to try and rape two women at the same time.

This was my downfall. Traveling on business and hotels. It gave me too much opportunity, and after 18 years of a rather dry marriage, I failed.

I discovered I could make excuses for pretty much anything I wanted and justify it.

Which led to drinking.

I guess that’s one way to interpret this.

Personally, I don’t think people (women or men) in good marriages up and fly off to other countries to have sex with local randoms…my takeaway is get married and pay attention.

I love it. Remarried, have been with her for 18 more years (Married 36 total)

You can never fix what you broke though, and thats something I have to live with from my first marriage.

Its hard sober to deal with your own shortcomings.

I used to work in Destin, it doesn't happen with every group of women but is more common than you think.

Last guys trip we took was Destin. We ended up getting together with a group of women on a girls trip. Half were single half married. Funny thing is the ones with boyfriends didn’t cheat, but 2 of the 3 married women got the wood laid to them by guys on my group.
