With the rising costs and shittier service I have definitely cut back on going out to eat, and have noticed others doing the same. Are you seeing the same? Do we start seeing a large number of restaurant closures in the near future?

Mexican joints keep popping up all over the frickin' place.

Can we keep just enough of them to keep the restaurants open and deport the rest? I really like Mexican food.

Town I live in has a population of about 4 thousand. There are 3 Mexican restaurants (about to be a fourth) and 2 Mexican food trucks.

Metairie is turning into Mexico. Need to put a hold on those restaurants. Don’t need anymore.

I've noticed that too, but they don't seem to be good ones.

I don’t know where you live, but this is true everywhere I go. So many Mexican restaurants popping up like mushrooms after an early summer rain.

Tiny arse town by me has three now, about a dozen in Slidell. Very obvious what demographic is moving in.
