Does it ever sink in that the gov't robs you at gunpoint to pay poors and foreigners?

Every now and then I think about what' s actually going on and how happily people wait to get a tax refund so they can make a big stupid purchase. All so we can subsidize the lives of poor people and make sure foreign governments have plenty of our money in the bank.

It's actually worse than that.

Since it is clear that how much revenue the government receives has basically zero to do with how much it believes it can spend, it's more accurate to say we are taxed for no reason at all.

Even worse than that they also print money and drive inflation to make your every day purchases more expensive. It’s a triple got you.

Paying the so-called Poors in this country, meaning actual citizens, I can deal with VS the Ungodly amount of money we send around the world. No matter the situation of these individual Americans, I’ll always choose them compared to someone a ocean away. America/Americans first isn’t a bad thing, to me it’s common sense.

It's almost like it's the reason groups of people began banding together over millennia.

I thought about it today while I stood in line behind a couple who did not speak English and paid for their purchases with WIC.

How about the people who pay little or nothing into the system and then get big fat "refund" checks way over what they paid for having kids and every other big fat lie of a credit they are allowed...it's gross.
I get destroyed by taxes every single year with nowhere to hide except a measly standard deduction..I own my home, kids are grown, I don't have healthcare expenses...If you are a high earner they have you by the short hairs.

I don't mind paying for the truly needy. But the amount of fraud, waste and abuse is atrocious and maddening.

I'm assuming these numbers are fairly accurate.

The math is pretty simple. We are borrowing to pay for anything beyond SS,Medicare and Medicade when the interest is added.

We are also spending money for billionaires. It's not just the poor or foreigners

I have no hard data to back this up, but it seems to me that more and more people are coming to the realization that the federal government needs to be abolished.

If enough people woke up, we could literally ignore it out of existence.

How about Medicaid and Medicare providers who game and abuse the system on the backs of the taxpayers and even recipients? You know, like Medicaid providers in the states who are charging the government through outlets like Aetna for services not rendered on bogus patients? All with the acquiescence of Aetna, etc.

More like they rob you to make the rich richer

Certainly seems that way every time I drive to work on crumbling roads and F-rated 90-year-old bridges after I watch the news and see the sock-puppets in Congress waving Ukraine flags on the floor of the United States House of Representatives, along with the never ending news footage showing millions of South Americans, Africans and Asians streaming unfettered across the southern border into our once-great Republic.

Do you not realize that it’s not going to poor people an foreigners?

All foreign aid is diverted offshore and then back into US corporations and special interest groups that make politicians wealthy.

It has to be done in foreign aid and foreign deals so the money is off the books of the central bank and therefore no longer has to be accounted for. This is the same reason we buy oil from foreign nations when we have more oil than anybody in the world capped off in the Gulf of Mexico and in Alaska.

It’s all a racketeering operation against the US citizens and it’s amazing to me that people can’t see it!

I’m in the same boat as you Tighas, but I try not to dwell on it. It would drive me insane if I did. What’s even worse in my eyes is my 76 year old, widowed mother is still writing checks to our government.

Imagine the average blue collar worker...... warehouse worker, plumber, carpenter, electrician, etc. working their dirty dog asses off knowing their hard earned money is paying off the student loans of people who largely look down their noses at them and are generally on the opposite sides of the political divide.

I have mentioned this several times .

A state like Florida or Texas should set up an escrow account for every citizen in its state and have them mail their fed taxes to the state controlled tax account. The state would not release the funds until a full audit of all federal agencies was completed.

The state would protect the tax payer from any federal repercussion.
