I can’t think of any specific gymnast that has a resume that justifies a statue. I would think one of our track athletes receives one before and if gymnastics receives one it’ll be of DD in front of the practice facility. Tons of great lsu gymnasts but not sure about statue status

Stop the fricking dick thinking Livvy response to every gymnastic thread. It is not funny and you look like a junior high nerd.

Bryant is the only LSU gymnast to ever score a perfect 10.0 in every event. Also one of only 15 in NCAA history to accomplish this. All-Around national champion too.

If LSU gets a gym state that's not DD, she's the best gymnast.

Definitely not Simone biles. That statue wouldn’t last three days.

LOL at all of the posts from people acting as though a gym statue is an actual realistic possibility.

Nobody does statues for gym players.

While I love to joke about and think back to my college days and what I’d have done to try to land Livvy had she been there when I was on the 5 and a half year plan to my four year LSU degree, Bryant is by far the most entertaining to watch and most graceful, most talented gymnast I’ve ever seen at LSU.

Simone biles quit on America in the Olympics. It amazes me she still gets sponsors

Not every statue needs to be of an athlete. Dr. Andrews is a world renowned orthopedic surgery who graduated from LSU school of medicine. You could also commemorate the team of scientists that proved the existence of gravitational waves.

Let's recognize some of the great minds of who have come through LSU in addition to athletics.

Same reason that there's a Sue Gunter statue in the PMAC. Longevity and maintaining the program for decades. Also, both came close but never won it all.
