Muh Churchill. frick that old fat Limey prick. why do people always make it seem like he was the reason WW2 was won?
the same guy that bankrupted the British Empire after WW2, lost the Suez Canal and got outplayed by America on the geopolitical chess board is supposed to be some sort of heroic figure. lol.

UK was bankrupt by the war and convinced the US with "lend/lease (better known as give) to keep them afloat.
They never lost the Suez Canal during the war, there is a little place called El Alamein you should research. Though they did sucker FDR into fighting in north africa and Italy.
The geopolitical chess board was "leasing" of bases on UK territories for 99 years. One of which was here in Trinidad. They spent billions on infrastructure that UK did not have to spend, pretty slick move by UK. US protected UK oil assets free of charge.
With nothing in their favor he took over the leadership of a country and stood firm against the Axis powers, we should pray for such leaders.

He was a major reason ww2 got started.
