If Z feels good in 7-10 days, I need to hear that he is pushing the FO to let him play

Seriously. Even if he doesn't make it back or the team refuses, so we can clown them for it. We can assume going forward that the FO still wants to use kid gloves.

By next week we need to hear media talking about how hard Z is working to get back out there to give us an impression on how serious he is about that greatness title. If he feels good enough to go,I'd rather hear that he wanted to play and the team refuses because it gives us an indicator that the front office has been kinda bitch made..

Honestly, fly with the team, go therapy like a maniac like lebron would. Around the clock. Hope we steal one of the first 2 games, miss game 1 (Sunday), game 2 (Wednesday), and game 3 (sat). We'd lose game 3. Play and win game 4 (Monday) that'd be exactly 2 weeks, momentum on our side.

Hope to go 2-2 and even out the series and be ready for a best of 3.

They mentioned yesterday that the “2 weeks” timeline is simply the earliest that they will do a re imaging on the hamstring. I can’t imagine him doing much of anything without knowing how it’s healing.

When they said they're going to reevaluate him in two weeks, I lost all hope.

That's why I said we need to hear that he is pushing the team to do the imaging sooner if it starts to feel better and he thinks he can do more.

I'm tired of the injury situations with this team, it's the playoffs now bro if you can go, you should be pushing to go as soon as possible, or ill continue to feel like this is not a serious franchise.

Zion isn't coming back unless we make a deep run. You all need to just save yourselves the stress now. Even a MILD strain takes the standard 4-6 weeks. And, I'm not sure it's only a mild strain considering he immediately removed himself from the game.

I’m sure he is “pushing it”. Chance of reinjury is too high with the hamstring, though. Doubt we see him until we reach the conference finals

You want a guy that's reaggravated injuries twice already to push to come back early. OK

I like how some fans made up this story in there head that the team holds Zion out when he can go play. Remember his last hamstring injury they where trying to ramp him up because Zion wanted to play in the all star game and dude ended up straining his hamstring worse.

Your best case scenario is he shows up for a Game 7.

2 weeks is 4/30 right before Game 5. And that’s for reimaging.

Come back if you think you can. It’s the fricking playoffs. I don’t care if he injures it worse by chance. He’ll have 7-8 months to recover from it, as I don’t care if he isn’t available for the first 10-15 games of the season next year.

Devin Booker didn’t sit out the whole playoffs 2 years ago when he reaggravated his hamstring against us.

It would be nice to know grade strain it is but this organization obviously tells us nothing.

Devin Booker is a shooter though, not a driver like Zion. Z puts a whole lot more stress on his lower half to explode like he does around abd through people so that’s not really a good comparison. Also for people saying he should travel with the team I think that would be a bad sign. Things tend to tighten up when you fly so if he really has any chance to come back this year I would rather keep him home so he can get rehang at the facility and then have him there with the team when they come back to play in New Orleans.

Season is over if years of history is even remotely repeating itself.

Yeah, let's bring him back too early so that he can tear his achilles.

What is wrong with you?

Seriously, you need to give up all hope of Zion playing against the Thunder. if were to somehow win that series without him, then we have something to talk about.

Idk why half this board thinks “re-evaluated in two weeks” means he might play in a Game 5. We’ve done this a thousand times. There’s no chance he plays in this series even if it goes 6-7.
