OKC oilman and predatory piece of shite Clay Bennett knew how to take advantage of a bad situation. The Sonics were working with the WA legislature on funding a new arena. Schultz knew damn well what Bennett’s intentions were when he bought them. He agreed to negotiate with Seattle on how to replace Key Arena but his plan was to move the team from the jump. And everybody on planet earth was well aware of it.

I miss the SuperSonics. The Gary Payton/Shawn Kemp era and Ray Allen era was the stuff 90’s/00’s basketball dreams were made of.
