I have a son in the 7th gr, probably the youngest in his grade. I tried to hold him back in kindergarten but lost that fight with the wife. But he is very immature and I’m about to send him to Stanislaus if I could.

Sometimes I wonder if he knows right from wrong. He does shite that I know he knows better. He got his first phone at Christmas. He’s probably had it in his possession for a total of 7 days since then.

Most recently we let him take it to school due to an after school activity. The mother of one of his best friends called us to say he was taking pics of her son over the top of the bathroom stall and that he was going to send the pics to classmates. We had this very discussion with him prior to even giving him the damn phone but he must be too stupid to realize the repercussions. He never took the pics but said he was prankng his buddy. Needless to say, he’s not getting the phone back anytime soon and if I have it my way, he’ll repeat 7th grade because he’s too damn immature to move up. I’m at a loss at how to proceed. I’ve whipped his arse enough this yr and currently work out with him at 5:30 every morning to get some of his energy out. It’s been a struggle to say the least.
