Does anyone truly believe Hell is a place of fire where unbelievers burn for eternity?

I believe the Bible. I believe Hell exists, whatever it is. I believe all deserve it if not for grace. I just have a hard time believing it’s a place of permanent torture. The Bible mentions lots of stuff that isn’t literal. I could be totally wrong. No one knows, even the greatest of theologians. One theologian can make stuff make total sense and back it up with scripture. Another theologian can have a totally opposite view that also makes sense and backs it up with scripture. Again, no one truly knows. I believe in Hell. I don’t wanna go there. I just have my doubts it’s a literal place like described.

It's a place without God or any goodness or the blessings that come from Him. Whether it's fire, worms or being serenaded endlessly by Barbara Streisand, thanks to Jesus I don't have to go there.

The four substitutes for God are: power, wealth, pleasure, and honor. Hell is a place of those to infinity and eternity and it’s misery forever.
Think of it. Think of what your substitute is.
Day 1? Pretty awesome.
Day 10? Still awesome.
Day 100? awesome.
Day 1000? Eh, ok.
Day 1000000? Uh oh.
Day 1000000000? Welcome to hell
And eternity is only getting started.
Anywho, my very poorly informed , non-theology , very novice , opinion

If you believe the Bible, then believe the Bible. Hell is an actual place of torment, the “lake of fire”, etc.

No I dont believe a supreme intelligence that created our reality would be such a petty tyrant as to punish lesser intelligent creatures for not accepting his existence or rules. If that is the case, then I will gladly burn in hell.

* gas flares
* fire pits
Its in our nature, because he put in there. And we are like him. In his image
So yes. Humans that were given the amazing gift of life and then abused the hell out of it, will be disposed of as waste

Not sure but I’ve heard that stop, drop and roll does NOT work in hell.
