She realized 80s pop was the best era and has done a good job mimicking that sound and style.It appeals to multiple age demos.
When I say “good job” she’s the biggest musical act in history by some important metrics, and revived a near-extinct medium (vinyl) by herself. She can simply re-release albums as “her version” and sell a billion more copies while selling out Wembley 6 times on one tour.

Listened to that crap with my 14 year old daughter in the car on the way to school this morning. All of the songs on this one sound exactly the same, at least tracks 1-7. She does mention that she was a functioning alcoholic in the first song, which I found kind of interesting. It went downhill from there through and devolved into more songs about men she's dated.

Yep, listened to a little and the same themes and styles. She’s milking it until she senses another direction is needed.
Marketing wise, she’s selling multiple versions of the vinyl including “parchment” and clear versions. And will make another mint on all of it. You can buy the whole set for $350 (how appropro).
