I could be wrong, but I think Ewers is going to end up being a lot better than “mid” this season.

I don't see it. Kid is now in his fourth year, but has looked mediocre the last two years. He has the talent, but if you really watch him, it's hard to see anything more than decent. Also, even though they have loaded back up on talent, it is not close to the level they had last season.

Dude had a gold mine of weapons. For deep for receiving and 3 deep at RB. Three great receiving options at RB. The Bama game is a ridiculous outlier. Dude had a 7 game stretch where he threw 9 TDs to 5 ints. That's with a ridiculously loaded offensive roster. His best game was vs Oklahoma St, which was 126 out of 133 in pass defense.

I just don't see him doing it. I could see the elevation in Daniels and preached it all offseason before it happened. I just do not see it from Ewers.
