Granted, I never expected this side of BI but it's nice to see the % of posters who have come around, considering when I was saying we need to trade BI a year ago and even just a couple of months ago, the % of posters who would yell and call me every name imaginable was pretty sizable.

Looks like those days on Pels Talk are thankfully over.

To be fair I wanted BI traded and still called you every name imaginable lol

Man I really miss preseason pels basketball- when we could argue whether games mattered or not instead of this mess.

We’ve been on the right side of history outside of JV. I came around on JV but Willie obviously did not. I can’t wait until this season is over. What a fricking dumpster fire.

Well the biggest difference is Zion seems to have bought into both taking care of his body AND the Pelicans organization.

The big selling point of BI was that he likes it here, and we were worried Zion was a threat to both eat himself out of the league AND demand a trade out.

Also, BI has clearly refused to buy into more efficient play. If Zion was gone, we can live with it, but with Zion, it doesn't work.

It all changed because the assumption was we had a good locker room guy. He crossed the line last night and that changed everything.

Now he’s a guy that isn’t listening to coaches, skill set isn’t a good fit, and he’s throwing tantrums? No, your highest paid player and leader can’t do that for any reason, especially a veteran.

The sad part is BI’s skill set should fit with a superstar. He can do everything on offense decently well, and he has enough size and length to guard all over the court. But he thinks he’s better than he is and thinks he’s too good to adapt his game to help the team.

Looking back when LeBron pushed him out of LA, I think LeBron saw back then what we’re all figuring out now. Talented player, but not as good as he thinks he is, not easy to coach and you have to beg him to play defense. I think LeBron realized that BI wasn’t worth waiting to develop because at best he’s good not great.
