maybe at that market they have on Saturdays on 621? If not, there's probably someone there who would know.

The actual loquats in southern Japan are the best fruit I've ever had. They have like a 60 day window. Juicy and sweet. They are called "biwa" bee-wa.

the trees are all in fruit right now, but it’s not a grocery store item. Best bets are farmers markets, fruit stands or a neighborhood tree

BTW, offer still stands for anyone. I have many loquat seedlings free to a good owner, in Hammond

The only place that I would think that carries them is Bao on Airline in the same shopping center Spanky's is in.

You may be better off finding a neighbor with a tree in their yard.

I looked up the fruit and those trees grew all over the neighborhood.. As kids we would eat those things by the bucket.. Always would get diarrhea...

Try the Prairieville flea market. They usually have produce vendors

I'm from Pitt and have a tree in my backyard and don't eat them. You can come get as many as you want from the tree or I can pre-pick a box for you and leave them out on my front porch for you, just let me know. #yinzer

They had a tree on the walking trail along the bayou on West Main Street in Gonzales

Tree used to be loaded with them. It's on city property so nobody can tell you anything

I'd like to know whats the most northern parish you've consistently found loquats in? I would guess southern Rapides?

Can’t help you with the trees other than to say you can google them and you’ll find many sources. I have yet to find any that will fruit in my zone in Arkansas.

When I was a kid in California, neighbor had a loquat tree that produced what had to be thousands every year. Best. Fruit. Ever. I used to eat them and nearly nothing else for weeks. Good luck in your hunt.

My nextdoor neighbor's tree is loaded. We planted 2 last year and have already eaten all they produced (not a lot), so I've been coveting my neighbor's wife's loquats.
