As frustrating and sad as this year has been I’m confident he will get this turned around. Next year will be better and then we should be rolling.

If next year isn’t better then he is in the Mike Bianco, Chris Lemonis and even Paul seat where if he doesn’t produce his arse is fired.

JJ recruits extremely well and that is half the battle in college. We also have a large nil pool for baseball and a lot of things to sell so we should restock.

JJ isn’t out chasing blondes or not recruiting and trying after a title. Even the great Nick Saban had to win a third NC before he had an unstoppable machine so it can take some time to build the process.

This year is pretty much a Paul left us with talent but a lot of rot and a lot of gaps.

JJ plugged gaps in year 1 with smoke and mirrors and some transfers, year 2 we dominated and this year the Paul/JJ class doesn’t exist and our first true JJ recruiting class hasn’t fully lived up to potential and his second full one is freshman.

Paul had a horrendous year 1 and year 2 was about as bad until we caught fire and then he won the nc but he was a bit ahead of schedule. Then Paul stopped recruiting and we sank in 10 and bottomed out in 11 before we stabalized.

So the answer is I think JJ can right the ship because he does the right things. He didn’t get a divorce and go crazy. However if he doesn’t we replace him and get little Tony in here

Jay is a proven winner at several stops and he is a hard worker. I am confident he will learn a lot from this season and become a better coach in the future.
