Why? Is it not the responsibility of the leaders in the party to hold those accountable for their actions? All Speaker Johnson had to do was keep his word. Strange how every Republican Speaker can't just do what they say they are going to do.

This. Even more strange is the supposed conservatives who put the blame on those demanding accountability, rather than those who can't or won't do what they said they would do.

No. It's up to the voters to stop re-electing crappy Congressmen. There aren't enough "good" representatives in the House to do what you (and I) would like.
