A lot of y’all are missing a very large point here.
Being on this security detail is a high privilege. It’s reserved for the best officers.
Think about the message this sends to other police officers. She’s giving preferential treatment to her security detail. She’s having meals, drinking and even having sex with him. Does he even deserve this job? Or did he get it because he was willing to have sex with a horribly unattractive woman?
It undermines her authority and it undermines the importance of the job that her security detail is supposed to do.
It erodes morale.
It’s horrible leadership.
