I have never seen that scary looking milk bladder thing

We had those in school too. Used to would blow them up as tight as we could then shove the straw through it and spin them around.

Events at school where we are offered cafeteria pizza for lunch is pretty common. Today's excuse for pizza is a disgusting greasy mess. I have tried a few times, I just don't eat anymore. What a shame

What is your pizza crust recipe?

Sauce?

School Lunch Pizza (gannie?)

Half sheet pan and line with parchment paper

Crust: 2 2/3 flour, 3/4 cup powdered milk, 2 T sugar, 1Pkt of quick rise yeast, 1 tsp salt 1 2/3 c warm water (105-110°), 2 T Veg oil

Filling: 1/2 LB italian Sausage, 1/2 lb ground chuck, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp salt 1 (8oz) block mozzarella cheese grated yourself

Sauce (I make the sauce the day before): 1 (6oz) can tomato paste, 1 1/2 c water, 1/3 olive oil, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1/2 Tbsp dried oregano, 1/2 Tbsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp dried rosemary crushed

Crust:

Preheat oven to 475º - spray pan with Pam and lay parchment paper down (pam makes it stick)

In a large bowl - flour, pow milk, sugar, yeast, salt - wisk to blend

Add Oil to hot water (110 - 115°) - pour into flour mixture

Stir with a wooden spoon until batter forms - don't worry about lumps - you just want no dry spots.

Spread dough into pan using fingertips till its even. if dough doesn't want to cooperate let rest 5 min and try again. bake just crust 8-10min - remove from oven and set aside.

Brown meats till it resembles crumbles - set aside and drain meat also. Add salt and pepper while cooking.

Get out pizza sauce - to partially baked crust assemble

sauce - spread all over crust

sprinkle meats

sprinkle cheese

bake at 475° 8 - 10 min till cheese melts and begins to brown

remove from oven let stand 5 minutes. cut in slices and serve

The above sauce recipe is actually pretty darn good and best made the day before because it cooling down gives it time to thicken.
Listed it again below.........

Sauce
(I make the sauce the day before):
1 (6oz) can tomato paste,
1 1/2 c water,
1/3 olive oil,
2 cloves garlic minced,
1tsp salt,
1 tsp pepper,
1/2 Tbsp dried oregano,
1/2 Tbsp dried basil,
1/2 tsp dried rosemary crushed

It was a sad day midway through my junior year (01/02) when they pivoted away from the square pizza to slices brought in from pizza hut.
