This flower bed had several shrubs that were over grown and looked terrible.
They can’t be pruned down at this point so I just chopped them down. My son is about to pull them out now so we can start over in this area.

I watched a YT video this am abt how to pull up large overgrown shrubs and the guy said to cut them down as far as possible to get to the base so you can use a shovel and spade to pull them up.

I hate how lazy ppl become Uber energetic for the first few weeks of nice spring weather.
Best time of year is still Fall.
