re: Your Death... Would You Want To Know When Or How?

Its impossible to truly know, by your question, I could know that I die in a plane crash on a given date, I never fly again, but a plane crashes into my house one night while sleeping.

I could know when and submit myself to a hospital just in case on the date of, evenin good health, and get treatment that kills me unexpectedly.

You could be told you have 6 months to live from cancer and be planning out those 6 months and get in a car accident on the way home from the oncologist and die.

It's a frivolous discussion, I'd answer that question with: "I'd rather when i die, whenever that is, knowing that my loved ones knew I was okay and that they knew how much I loved them. "

That's all the prior knowledge of my death I want and the reason I call my relatives with dementia and family that most people wouldn't contact regularly for various reasons.

Eta: please tell me one day. Maybe I can change it and be grateful for another day, maybe I can't. But I'll never wake up and have a day as grateful as that day, I'd rather that then a long wind down. It would just get more depressing the longer the wait.
