Y’all forget JJ was a winner at Arizona. Took his team to Omaha. We’re having a down year, it sucks, but a lot of you people need to learn some fricking patience.

Transfer portal era LSU baseball should never have a down year this bad. Star players are available every year and they didn’t get any offensive players out of the portal. A&M got the kid from Stanford and Tennessee got the kid from Clemson. Are they better programs?

He won the Mountain West at Nevada too. He's had success everywhere he's been.

Maybe they were more desirable to those players? I mean Holman and jump were pretty much top 10 transfers, and loer wasn’t far behind.

Yeah, I mean I’m not sure I can really agree there outside of loer. It’s probably more so the assumption that guys like Pearson, kling, neal, Hurd, and maybe even ack and guidry would be more reliable. Because the only guy you can really point to as performing significantly under expectation from the portal is Loer. Jump hadn’t pitched since 22’ so it’s hard to realistically expect him to be top of the rotation level the start of SEC.
