Take a breath, bro. Get a good night’s sleep and enjoy Pastor John’s sermon tomorrow. No need to get worked up over something out of your control. The team will turn around, or they won’t. Nothing you can do about it. Baseball is a funny game and sometimes players just don’t pan out or can’t get their shite together. Despite this season LSU is still in a good place. Very few if any programs have the booster infrastructure in place to make things happen in the transfer portal/NIL world that the Tigers do. If needs be CJJ will cut bait with some of the roster and stock up again. It’s gonna be all good, frustrating as frick in the foreseeable future, but all good in the grand scheme.

This team ain't turning anything around. That was kinda the point of this point. You went from a natty to not being able to win a damn conference series. Yes that's embarrassing.

Not kid yourself, Auburn is worse than you are. Auburn don’t have a chance to to make a regional, LSU does, even though the door is closing fast. Let’s just assume you get swept this weekend and you are 3-12 after tomorrow.

The magic number for SEC teams is beloved to be around 12-14 get into a regional this year. You have 15 SEC games left after tomorrow.

@ Mizzou x 3
Auburn x 3
aTm x 3
Bama x 3
@ Ole Miss x 3

Go 11-4 during this stretch and you get into a regional. Having Auburn, aTm, and Bama at home will be big, obviously. Win Series against Mizzou, and win all 3 series at home and you could be 8-4 going into that Ole Miss series. Door is closing fast, but yall still have a chance if you can win the Mizzou series on the road.

Would you rather have been bounced in a regional last year and this year, or take the championship last year and take the lumps this year(it's not over btw)? Are some of this fan base early 90s Bills fans that always want to be close, not grateful for a ring? I bet there are fans of a lot of teams in a lot of sports that would trade a lot of years of being competitive or close for one championship.

We won one in emphatic fashion less than a full season ago. The team isn't the same this year, not even remotely close. Understood. Take this year for what it is, but APPRECIATE that you did actually win it last year, people keep using it as a punchline and it's ridiculous. Baseball is not like football where you can scheme out deficiencies or deficient players. You can coach them, but if you're not hitting and you don't have other capable replacements then what can you do within the confines of this season?

Let's let the season progress, stop being ungrateful for a championship, and see how these deficiencies are corrected going forward and into next season.
