This team has been micromanaged to death, and it's blown up in their faces more times than not.

You do realize every successful coach does this without even flinching, time after time, right?

Lester you and I can agree that a coach with a lefty lefty matchup JUST LIKE RIGHT NOW WITH BROWN does this

thinking going L v L is micro-managing is lol

even more so bringing in your best pitcher, who happens to be LH, to face a LH batter

that was a chalk move

Herring did the same thing his last outing. Gave up like 3 hits when he came in then dominated.

their best with RISP and your righty has almost 100 pitches AND first was open so you tell your guy pitch competitively but don’t leave anything over the plate.

Herring missed his spot or his pitch didn’t break.

I fully agree this is all on johnson that was absolutley stupid , god , but also he has got to find a good hitting coach or something i mean we cant get above 1 damn run , leaving people on , errors wtf team is this worst team ive seen at LSU since the smoke era and they hit better than us this is pathetic

Guess we know why the players are stressing- the frickin coach overthinks everything

Take out the guy that has kept them guessing all night

Jay is a dumb arse
Taking out your right handed starter at 95 pitches to relieve him with a left handed pitcher who has a .68 ERA and is effectively the best pitcher on your team to go up against a left handed batter who has been killing the baseball is not "over thinking" anything.

It's fricking baseball. That's exactly when you make that move. If Holman had given up a three run home run with Herring hot in the bullpen you retards would be saying Jay should've taken Holman out.

Herring made a bad pitch. It's that simple.

Wasn’t even a bad pitch, hitter was out in front a bit, but kept his hands back & put a nice swing on it

It's insane, Lester. These guys have no idea what they're talking about and for whatever reason can't accept that, despite Jay making the right decision, Tennessee made a play.

I get the lefty vs lefty matchup. But you let Holman finish the inning there. Those are his runners. If they score, it’s on him.

Ride the hot hand. He had a damn no hitter going two batters ago.

Let him finish the inning stop with this lefty vs righty shite.

That's one way to say you don't know what the frick you are talking about.

You think its a good idea for a guy batting over .500 with RISP to see a pitcher with 90+ pitches for a third time? Especially when you have the lefty/ righty matchup ready to go?

Some of yall just cant help yourself can you?
