Not only that, but [it sounds like] they have started a clandestine evacuation of Rafah. They pulled up 2 brigades to go back into gaza. Hamas recently threw out a new hostage deal to end the assault.
I think they're going to use this small window of opportunity to end it before they do anything with Iran.

Looks like Egypt saw just how powerful Israel actually is and is now pushing for an even more stronger bond between the two nations.
The Rafah invasion has been delayed in order to coordinate with the Egyptian military. Egypt now wants to further strengthen its ties to Israel and part of this strengthening of ties is to coordinate in dismantling the Rafah infrastructure and helping rescue hostages per KANN News. KANN News

It's crazy how this whole thing is creating such an alliance between the Israelis, Egyptians, Jordanians, and Saudis. I think they're all starting to recognize that Israel is the best neighbor that they have.

EDIT: It's apparent you don't know how Yahoo news articles are presented. Various news organizations have their articles listed on the Yahoo news page. Yahoo itself has a limited news reporting staff so most of its articles are by third parties.
The article I referred to is from The Telegraph which is a UK news organization. I found it interesting that a UK news organization considers the U.S. to be the only super power in the world these days. America has just reminded us there is only one world superpower
Maybe some of the cartoons you watch to get your news from have a different point of view...

Almost as if Trump’s attempts to try and ally Israel with the non-Shiite nations is paying off…

True, but that has little to do with Trump. Iran wants to be the regional hegemon and would really like to have the clout associated with controlling Mecca and Medina; however, they have to do it in a way that doesn't raise Turkey's ire.
