Oh it doesn't hurt my feelings or anything lol. Just seems every time a thread involves a woman that has tattoos, some of these people wanna set her on fire. Like she personally offended them.

The same ones will tell you to find Jesus, vote Trump, and kill Mexicans (even if they are Honduran).

You didn’t quote the whole statement…

Didn't have to. This has nothing to do with a tattoo.

Tattooing of the flesh has long been regarded as something “out of the norm” until recently (probably the last 20 years).

I don't see any meaning or positive addition to most. Just a bunch of put together stuff. And looking at the decoration or trying to read the little messages can get a person called a pervert. ... Just saying for a friend.

You seem mighty pressed to make a thread and stick around defending your tattoos that you claim to be impartial, even proud, of having.

I didn’t make the thread, dumbass. I just pointed out the fact that this is a 5400 year old “trend”.

Ummmm, tattoos are a waste of a ton of money. They look terrible, and are trashy because, generally, it's trashy people who get them. Have an artist paint you something to hang on your wall. Why people get inked in places they can't even see is bizarre. "I'm doing it for me" Oh really, can you pull an exorcist move and see that back of the neck tat you have? Most of all, because it is an impulsive act you have to live with. On your body. Forever. And let's say you carefully thought about spending $1K to have your wife's face immortalized on your chest. Does this seem wise?

This is def some deep down hate from someone that must have got fricked over dating a tatto artist or something lol

Woke up to see this going strong. Been called lots of names and one guy said he’d been with my mom, lol. Name calling is usually a sign of a miserable person. They have personal issues and insulting someone is a way to make them feel better IMO. I’m sorry you feel that way. I was told earlier to keep lurking, so I will do so on the rant. I’ll still be in Tiger Stadium every Sat on game day. I’ll still watch every baseball game. The real reason I got on here many years ago. The OT reminds me of why I don’t have social media. It’s a cess pool sometimes.

No. This was already discussed. Personally I don’t care for them, but doesn’t mean I dislike pit bull owners.

And you are projecting. I have no tattoos. Have dated men who did. A tattoo artist? Nope, never dated one. Sorry to disappoint.

Have never understood it, on men, or women.

It’s not much different than women who get duck lips. Or guys born with dicks who get them chopped off on a whim when they decide to feel like a girl.

Why not show some psychological maturity and accept your body in its natural form?

What psychological issues are you failing to cope with?

Some of us don’t need to hide our skin with trendy ink injections that have been linked to long term health issues: LINK

Because they are trashy. Lower end people making bad decisions (shocker). Dumb enough to think others want to see what they do, like, wtc

I find them to be very low brow. (To put it kindly). In women I think it looks classless.

In my personal experience, people who feel compelled to ink their bodies (perhaps an exception for military) have personality disorders

I often wonder why people with tats want to look like MS-13, because that's what first comes to mind. Kind of a bad example to set for their kids IMO.

I have 3 kids in their 20s, not one tattoo amongst them. It is perhaps my finest achievement.

I actually feel part of the counter culture these days. Walking through the grocery store, or the pool, or wherever my wife and I appear to be the only ones that have no ink. In my opinion, when I see a woman or man with a tattoo, I laugh under my breath and am embarrassed for them. Sheep thought I…

To each their own, but now you know my opinion.
