Not acting like anything. I don't care where he was ranked. NICE GET! If we are going to get a guard from a mid major, I'll take the guard with the previous stats below. So finalist for the Lou Henson POY barely made the top 100 transfers. LOL. I guess these are the same guys that rated Justin Jefferson?

Sears is the only active NCAA Division I men’s basketball player to accumulate at least 650 points, 140 rebounds, 140 assists and 75 made three-pointers in 2023-24, going off for six games of at least 30 points. In just two seasons at UT Martin, Sears has poured in 1,181 points – ranking 10th in school history in that category.

Here’s part of the write up from the athletic that ranked him 99th. UT Martin played at the 7th fastest tempo so per game stats will be inflated. That’s not to say he won’t be good - but expecting him to be a high level player is how you set yourself up for disappointment.

“A small scoring guard, Sears is a two-time first-team All-OVC pick and a two-time All-OVC Tournament player. He’s a big-time shot creator who uses quick-twitch moves to get into the midrange and toward the rim, though I’m skeptical if those skills will translate to the next level. Sears made just 46.7 percent of his shots at the rim, 38 percent of his floaters and only 33 percent of his midrange jumpers, per Synergy, despite playing against the 328th-ranked strength of schedule in the country.”
