It’s probably tempting to put Herring out as a Sunday starter, but I really like him in his Friday night role.

maybe, I think they're trying to break up the lefties so it's not RHP (holman), then Herring, Jump, Ack, Anderson, Johnson, Bronzini, Primeaux,and Beloso consecutively.

I sure hope we don't have any games this weekend where we get in a 0-9 HOLE in the first inning, and the starter is pulled after two outs retired, having given up 9 runs and 11 hits. That would be the ultimate disappointment. But I truly, truly fear that will happen...

I don’t hate it. I’d Jump can get you through 4 with the lead, throw Herring out there to finish it out. Then ride Holman as long as you can in game 2. Honestly every weekend from here on we’ve gotta play for games 1 & 2 and just hope for the best in game 3.

I was thinking that given the situation we were in that starting Ack (given his performance in the CWS) and going to Holman if we have a lead midway Might have been smart.
If it didn’t work out then throw Holman on Sat and Jump on Sun.
