He was obviously a good fit for there system but still only rated out as the 6th best player on the team.
Look dude I get that you really like the advanced metrics like EvanMiya but at some point you have to take your eyes off of the metrics and actually watch the game. I don't care what an advanced metric says, Knecht was by far Tennessee's best player. And considering his stats and accolades, I would argue that that's not an opinion but a fact. I have no idea whether Sears will work out at LSU or not. But I see you in countless threads on players just simply throwing out their metric rating to judge a player. Its an aspect but there is so much more to judging a player than simply what a calculator says

1st, the point of my comment wasn't to diss on Knecht or turn this thread into a discussion about him. My point stands, he wasn't even on the radar last season and excelled in Tennessess's system this season. I don't know why people took that as some kind of diss on Knecht. Maybe next time I'll focus group my words before posting
I was simply pointing out that Mark Sears was a star before he showed up at Bama, and Knecht was an unknown before showing up at Tenn, and this was clear in their respective BPR before moving to current schools. Also, he did rate out as the sixth best player, but go back and read my post; I didn't say he was the sixth best player but said he RATED out sixth best. That is relevant b/c the whole conversation was around BPR and not seasonal awards.
2nd, Mark Sears should have been the SEC POY.
