Can you name a case from the past 100 years where a guy was accused of double murder and white people fiercely rooted for him to be acquitted despite fully believing he was guilty?

Never heard of Emmit Till? Get your head out of the sand. If you don’t think OJ’s acquittal was payback I don’t know what to tell you. I’m very conservative but I also know history.

Everyone knows that it was based on a perception of payback. It’s also an asinine assertion. A pop culture star professional athlete stabbing his ex-wife has no analog to the Emmett Till story.

Yeah that's definitely the same thing, complete with white power saluting jury foremen.

So no real example. Didn't think so.

There were black guys in that lynch mob, by the way, since you're such a history buff.

I worked with a white guy from Jersey who had served 60 days for assaulting his wife and he was jubilant at the acquittal. So I’d add men who love to beat up women to the list of OJ supporters.

I don't really consider Yankees "white." It would cheapen it for the rest of us.

No. No we don’t.

If I witness a wreck, I’m telling the police what I saw regardless of race. I don’t care if it’s a white person in the wrong, I’m not gonna frick over some black person who did nothing wrong.

But that’s just me. Justice and fairness have no skin color in my book.

That was in 1955, OJ’s trial was 40 years later.

What did you realize after the original Rodney King verdict?

Yes black do tend to have bias for our own.

I think it plays out very similar with white people. Look no further than Former President Donald Trump. He can do no wrong in white peoples eyes.

Well after I watched that black animal nearly kill an innocent white man with a brick to the head then laughed about it, I knew we were dealing with some sick people.

About half of the white people in this country hate Trump you idiot.

You know, the ones whose plantation you still reside on. Now you be a good boy and keep voting Democrat like you’re told.

It wasn't blacks' reaction that was truly significant, it was white liberals'.

I specifically recall Tony Randall on a talk show saying the trial wasn't about murder, it was about racism.

Bias? Nah, y’all are prejudiced.

Prejudice: an attitude that always favors one way of feeling or acting especially without considering any other possibilities.

The definition perfectly describes most blacks. Everything is always about race and racism. Y’all have zero empathy for any race but your own.

I remember how sick it made me feel when that animal Damian Williams almost killed Reginald Denny with that cinder block to the head. And you know what, I would have felt just as sick about it if the victim would have been an innocent black man.

To you, Reginald Denny deserved it because he’s white.

I can’t fathom celebrating an obviously guilty white man being found not guilty of murdering two black people, just because he’s white.

Look at that skinny little Kenyan cocksucker that y'all literally look upon as a messiah.

You taught your children to pray to him as if he were a god.

Emmett Till grabbed a woman an dry hunched on her.

He was just like his rapist daddy who was court-martialed on two counts of rape and one count of murder during the Italian Campaign. He was found guilty and was executed by hanging at Aversa.

After Till's victim died, liberals and blacks statrted the damn lie that she admitted she had lied.

No, she didn't lie, and she never said she did.

frick Emmett Till. Little bastard was a future rapist like his piece of shite father.

If you people are still trying to figure this all out, it's in the book.

Black people hold grudges and hatred in their hearts. It's a slippery slope. Probably wasn't covered in their Bible study.

Those grudges eat at their soul, till finally they are capable of choosing a brutal murderer over an innocent victim. Does that sound familiar?

Black people are ensnared in sin and hatred.

But the problem is, the evil we see in others lurks in the shadows of our hearts, too, waiting to be fed, looking for a way to escape. If we refuse to examine our hearts, we leave ourselves vulnerable to the very behaviors we despise.

quote:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?”

-Jeremiah 17:9

Sorry for interjecting religion. But I'm not big on holding on to generalizations about people based on race. I try to look at these things in the context of demonic influence and sin. Many Black people have turned from God and obsessed on perceived slights, and in so doing, have lost their souls. It's quite obvious.

What may not be so obvious to you is our own instinct to respond in kind. That could our downfall.

Uh, no.

What you said has nothing really to do with religion, it's quasi race based. Blacks from Nigeria are completely different than those from South Africa. Entirely different from those from College Park, GA. Find a more precise way to describe your issue before you get the thread locked.

A black dude from the Congo told me he'd never met any black that had less respect for human life than South African blacks. I believe that dude, he had to work in Joburg.

So all you got from the Rodney king verdict was that Reginald Denny was stomped. Perfect example of over looking the fact that all the cops who were white got off Scott free.

Hypocrisy.

Yep...I was in high school doing community service in some of the worst Project Houses in the history of this country. I saw unspeakable things (and looked past them), but as an innocent high school student I was shocked how black people reacted to the most obviously guilty person I had ever seen. It changed my racial perspective to this day.

I had a high school black friend tell me that he new OJ did it, but still was happy he got off...for "racial justice"...
