Fair enough. But I think my gut instinct has me on the other side. I’ve got to imagine with that there are a lot of these plants across the country, and within any given plant, there’s likely to be a large amount of heavy machinery that is very vulnerable to wear and tear, given the nature of the work. Combine that with the low-income labor force who works at these, and I can imagine neglect is a frequent problem. So it’s not hard for me to buy a story that these are always going to be locations that are extra vulnerable fires.


So absent more information on longer term trends, I’m going to withhold outrage on this one
