Fiber all day over Cox.

This question keeps coming up on here.

Fiber from almost any ISP >>>>> Cox

Cox limits uploads speed to 10-15 Mbps. If you have to VPN back to your office uploading files will be shite speed compared to symmetrical speeds with att.

I dont think that is true for all areas and shouldn't be true for much longer if it is. I believe Cox is rolling out increased upload capacity just like Xfinity and Charter have done.

That may be plan specific as my current plan is 1Gig down, 100 Up. I am currently having some issues with speeds, but routinely still have 40 Mbps up whenever I run my tests.

To OP, Fiber over Cox; but if Fiber isn't available, Cox over AT&T

AT&T provides their own equipment, do not know if they charge a rental fee as I am with Cox. Cox will rent a modem to you for a monthly fee, or you can check out the list on their site and find a decent one for around ~$200.
