Reading through all these Cal threads, Kentucky fans are trying hard to tell us how bad Cal was and Arkansas fans are so happy to be in a relevant conversation they can't stop talking shite. Definitely been entertaining.

I'm trying to convey to the Ark fans all the warning signs I can imagine. Cal in his prime was awesome. If they can get that Cal to show up, then they made a great hire.

The Cal that just left UK is a shadow of his former self. If they start to see the signs we've seen, they should dump him sooner rather than later.

I think he'll give them 3-4 pretty good years just because he'll be invigorated by a new crowd of fans and donors. And good on them all if that happens.

But after that, when the shine starts to fade, don't fall for his excuses.

One Thing I will say about Cal Has nothing to do with X’s and O’s. When there was a disaster in the state of Kentucky, he did everything he could to raise money to help people out. He’s extremely generous has a good heart and is a good man. He raised a lot of money for tornado relief in western Kentucky and also for the flooding in eastern Kentucky, I also remember him raising money for Haiti after the earthquake. These things have nothing to do with coaching, but do reflect character.

Maybe this will reinvigorate him. He loves adoration and I think the Arkansas base will give him that .You you will definitely see talent. It will be interesting to see if his coaching style changes to reflect his deficiencies. If he can make changes, you guys got a great deal If he doesn’t, he will look like the last four years of Kentucky.

Way better than the names being tossed around. We’re bound to win something with those number 1 recruiting classes. Look what it did for Ags.

It's a 5 year contract. In 5 years he will be 70 and ready to retire from coaching. If we get 3-4 years that will be great.
