Most remasters are simply for an artist to get around having to pay royalty rights from a previous bad music contract.
They songs aren’t necessarily enhanced.
Taylor Swift remasterd her albums because Scooter Braun owned her previous music.

I thought she had to re-record them, as opposed to using the same audio tracks and just having them remastered.
